EURACT Snowball Symposium: Welcome to the zoo! – Discovering Nonviolent Communication

Tuesday, 27 February 2024, 17:00 CET

GP/FM educators are specialists in teaching communication skills. However, communicating as trainers, colleagues and team members may require versatile skills. We will practise Nonviolent Communication (NVC by Marshall Rosenberg) in small groups under guidance of NVC experts Chloé Delacour and Miika Karppinen, with Helena Karppinen as a chair.

Shall we learn to observe like a giraffe or a jackal, and express feelings, or even identify the needs?  Principles of NVC may also help the most experienced teachers.

Before the workshop: Think about a situation with your student/trainee when you were not satisfied with the way things went.

National representatives in EURACT Council will act as facilitators.

You may learn important principles of NVC here: https://youtu.be/LSGfqyhleUA
